About us

By sharing joyful moments over great food with friends, we strengthen our friendship and make new ones. We wanted to bring Swedish coffee culture to Switzerland and that’s why we opened our coffee place.

Lycka was established at the shores of lake Zurich in Meilen in 2020. After four fantastic years we decided to expand and open second location in the neighbourhood of Josefstrasse in Zurich in 2024.

Janet and Nahro, founders of Lycka

Janet studied nutrition and has a strong passion for healthy ingredients within the Swedish pastry culture. Her focus is on working with local suppliers and serving freshly made food. Nahro brings extensive experience in hospitality and restaurants.

Together, this sibling duo has created a warm and welcoming café where everyone feels embraced. Their space invites people to enjoy good company, savor great meals, and unwind with a delicious cup of coffee.
